I had no idea adrenal fatigue syndrome existed, and I’ll bet you didn’t either. It the name for that feeling of no energy that we all get, except this is ongoing. It has a devastating impact of people’s lives. We all get tired sometimes, but not everyday to the point where everyday activities are a real chore. Besides tiredness, symptoms include mental fog, maybe a case of mild depression, and low blood pressure with the constant feeling of being cold.
With adrenal fatigue, sleep does not refresh a person. Waking from a full nights sleep still feeling tired is a good sign that you too, are a sufferer. The good news is that there are certain things you can easily do that can help relieve the symptoms. Boredom helps contribute to tiredness. This was a surprise to me, but it makes sense. Boring routines, day after day, lull a person into a fatigued state after a while. Besides, a little excitement sounds fun.
Just sitting up straight can be a good way to get some energy back. Slouching for extended periods, like while sitting at your desk at work, cuts off oxygen. A good oxygen supply is needed to feel awake and energetic. You might not think you are slouching, but try sitting up perfectly straight and you will realize that you were indeed slouching. See? All that tiredness wasn’t just in your head.
